A minha avó materna faleceu em Outubro de 2012 e desde então que eu andava à procura deste desenho para juntar ao post que fiz nessa data. Na semana passada encontrei-o num saco de desenhos vários e finalmente 2 anos e 3 meses depois aqui está ele!
Esta frase foi o que me motivou a fazer este desenho, numa altura em que a minha avó ainda estava bem e embora muito fininha e curvada, passeava connosco no jardim.
My grandmother died in October 2012. Since then that I have been looking for this drawing. Last week I finally found it inside a plastic bag full of drawings... It took me around 2 years and 3 months, but here it is!
The sentence says something like "My Grandmother has a curve on her back. I'm pretty sure it's a pair of wings". I made it when she was still ok, and although she was a very thin and fragile lady, she would gladly walk with us in the park.
Her name was Maria da Soledade.
